Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1-2)
Last week, I was moved to tears while thinking about all of my brothers and sisters that are chasing Jesus alongside me here at Texas A&M. (There are so many of us, that on several occasions I’ve wondered if I’ve fellowshiped with any of the wolves mentioned in Acts 20:29.)
I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to fellowship with white, black, Asian, and Hispanic believers, and it’s something else to see how different ethnicities reflect Christ.
Each ethnic group is so special, and we desperately need each other.
Maranatha… Come Lord Jesus.
