Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:17-18)

Despite all of my sin and all of the stupid stuff I’ve done and continue to do… I look in the mirror and see some of His glory.

My shame and my horrible struggle with anger haven’t erased the glory that’s present, miraculously.

O to grace how great a debtor, daily I’m constrained to be.

  1. I read this tonight and thought of you!!

    DANCING WITH GOD
When I meditated on the word Guidance,
I kept seeing “dance” at the end of the word.
I remember reading that doing God’s will is a lot like dancing.
When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The movement doesn’t flow with the music,
and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both bodies begin to flow with the music.
One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.
It’s as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
    The dance takes surrender, willingness,
    and attentiveness from one person
and gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw “G”: I thought of God, followed by “u” and “i”.
    “God, “u” and “i” dance.”
    God, you, and I dance.
As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that I would get guidance about my life.
Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead
and to guide you through every minute, every hour, every day, every week,
every month, every year and every season of your life.

    1. Wow, this is so beautiful!!

Thank you so much sister, I really appreciate it!

I hope this year is a great one for you, and that the Lord will bring you to a deeper understanding of who He is and also about all of the privileges and gifts you’ve been given through our Lord Christ!
